HISTORY

Dennis Bolton Enterprises, Inc. was established 1971 in Van Nuys, CA, the heart of the San Fernando Valley. A small photography studio operating in a back section of a copy store. Dennis Bolton became well known for his photography, mostly headshots.

Soon after, he would work and eventually take over the copy store adding team members and increasing his operation to 725 square feet. With Offset printing and Photocopies as additional services, Dennis would again expand into neighboring retail locations capturing 2,900 square feet. With extra space, the opportunity for further services surfaced, Such as Office Supplies, which became an instant success becoming one of the leading office supply stores in the San Fernando Valley.

During the 1980s with increase in service, production, and equipment, Dennis was required to locate a more suitable retail operation and add more team members. In 1993 Staples® opened its doors across the street, and DBE decided it was time to amend its business structure. Omitting office supplies, Printing and Advertising became the main focus. With a new business plan came a new location and a larger facility.

Twenty-three years later we are still in our current home. Our employees on average have been with us for over twenty years. Now in our forty-fifth year Dennis Bolton Enterprises, Inc. still offers its original “a copy for a nickel” for its reflective black on white prints. We’ve been able to build an excellent reputation with great clientele. Continuously working hard in supplying our customers with solutions to their challenges has allowed our company to further grow into other markets closely associated with the printing industry.

They’re pretty up to date on all their tech stuff and I have to say I’ve compared my copies of my drawings and mattes against guys at school who get it done elsewhere, I gotta say I like what I have. I have a lot of small batch stuff printed, and I will go nowhere else. After widespread price comparisons, I used them for work projects, business cards, wedding invitation inserts and other assorted paper goods. Products consistently turned out exactly right, and they went above and beyond to make my life easier- free collation and folding on you programs, cutting and folding door hang tags, and always with quick turnaround to proof (and always so accommodating of my pickiness). I normally work with Robert, but have always gotten prompt and polite service.

May sound like a commercial, but it’s just facts. After they super-rushed a small but complex multipart order for me over the weekend (no rush charge!), I realized that they really are that awesome, and that in a city where so many places are slow and sloppy, I should tell people. This place is AMAZING. I took a few professional photos to Staples to try to make a big spiral Lookbook for my clothing line. The pictures were probably the size of half a poster. They told me they wouldn’t be able to do it because it was too big, without even thinking twice about it. I looked up places nearby and Dennis Bolton Enterprises was conveniently across the street. When I told them what I wanted to do with my photos they thought of every way possible to make it happen. They went out of their way to melt the ends of two spirals together to connect them and make it long enough for the book. Not only that but I had a variety of sizes and colors to choose from. They even made me a beautiful cover, lamented it, and put a thinker paper in the back so the pictures wouldn’t bend get ruined. It came out SO GOOD in a really short period of time. By far the best costumer service I have EVER experienced. I am so happy I stumbled across them. They are so creative and came up with every solution to help my idea come to life. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I really wish I was able to attach a picture to really show everyone how amazing their work came out. Thank you so much for all your hard work.
